New website!

This is just a short, irregular post to celebrate the re-launch of my website - thisisnotaholiday.com. For the first time it incorporates the blog feed, for which I am very grateful. I hope you like it!

It has been a while since my last gear review post, but that's because I've been focusing on my books and articles. I've matured as a writer since I first threw together This is Not a Holiday, enough that I thought a re-write was justified, and it's taken a while but is nearly finished. The shorter, better version 2 is nearly ready.

Until then, there are plenty of things going on with my magazine work, day job and personal travel plans. Stay tuned, folks!
